Meet Debs
Inspired by nature, guided by family
Debra’s floristry journey began over 35 years ago when she first worked at Blooms in Harrogate at 18 years old. She ran their market stall on the market stall at Knaresborough Market and later establishing Hollie Berrie Flowers as her own business in 2014. Over the decades, she has become a familiar and trusted face in the community, known for her creativity, care, and dedication to her craft.
Her love of flowers runs deep and has always been a part of her life. Inspired by her parents, who spent much of their time tending the allotment and nurturing their gardens, Debra grew up surrounded by the beauty of nature. Their passion for growing and being “green fingered” sparked her own love for floristry and continues to influence her work today. For Debra, flowers are more than just arrangements — they are a way of expressing care, celebrating life’s moments, and bringing joy to others.
